Insightful Talks on Career Growth & Industry Collaboration

 

As part of the compulsory subject "Society and Career", we were honored to host two distinguished business leaders.
 

Mr. Takero Sawamura, President of , and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of , delivered an insightful keynote titled "Co-Creation for Mutual Prosperity."
 

JACTIM, established in 1983, aims to foster economic relations between Malaysia and Japan in the areas of international trade, commerce, industry, and investment. The organisation also strives to protect the interests of Japanese companies while promoting mutual friendship and social interaction among its member companies, which number over 600.

MSIG Insurance (Malaysia), a subsidiary of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, Limited, is part of the MS&AD Insurance Group—one of the largest general insurance groups globally.
 

Following Mr. Sawamura, Mr. Datuk Khairil Adri Adnan, Founder and CEO of , who has studied in Japan, shared his expertise in a presentation titled "Malaysia & Japan Collaboration for Mutual Benefit."
 

DreamEDGE specialises in providing innovative solutions across industries, including automotive, rail, naval, energy, aeronautics, automation, and manufacturing. The company’s offerings include product design and development, turnkey projects, and specialised roles, as well as services in prototyping, robotics, IoT, big data, AI, Industry 4.0, digital content, and human capital development.


At the end of each session, students actively participated in engaging discussions, asking questions and exploring potential career images.

The "Society and Career" consists of five sessions, with the first three already completed. Two more sessions remain in the coming seven days.
